Johanna Oras Captures U.S. Market

After two decades of success in Europe, Johanna Oras, who lives and works in Scandinavia, is now actively promoting her prints in the U.S. market. She has been featured in exhibitions in the famous galleries in Europe from the Louvre in Paris to the Palagio di Parte Guelfa in Florence and is now preparing to meet the anticipated demand from a U.S. following.

Johanna Oras’ still-life paintings are abundant and rich in details and colors and they offer several interpretations. Though abundant, everything in them is necessary, nothing is superfluous and nothing is missing; harmony prevails in construction, coloring and expression. Johanna Oras’ art is great both in its simplicity and its richness. Her works are not only national, but also international, which is proved true by the prizes she has received.

U.S. Tour Starts February 2005

Ms. Oras’ works will be on display in the Boca Raton Museum in Florida in February 2005.
